Why Certify

Independent testing exists for one reason: so a brand's claims don't have to be taken on trust alone. PURELITE tests two things separately, because a supplement can be completely free of banned substances and still under-dosed, or completely accurate on label and still contaminated — testing one doesn't confirm the other.

Credibility. Every test runs against the current World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List, re-checked as it updates each year.

Reliability. Every batch, not a sample of batches. A batch is defined by mixing run, not by order size — the same standard for a first order as a thousandth.

Intimacy. Certified brands get full visibility into what was tested, at what limit, with what result — and can give their own customers direct access to the same certificate, not a summary of it.

Self-orientation. PURELITE has no product to sell and no stake in whether yours does. The standard only means something if it's applied the same way to a brand that fails as to one that passes.

Independent research puts real numbers on why this matters: a 2023 study in JAMA Network Open found only 11% of tested sports supplements matched their label claim within 10%, and 40% contained none of the labelled ingredient at all. Testing catches what self-reporting can't.

PURELITE-tested products are screened against the current WADA Prohibited List and independently verified against their own label claims — batch by batch, both checks required for the mark.
